Mary Coletta Daly (nee Kelly) 91 of Elyria passed away Friday April 15, 2016 at her residence following a brief illness. She was born November 12 , 1924 in Elyria and was a 1942 graduate of Elyria High School. Mary was a member of St. Mary's Altar and Rosary Society and Legion of Mary Christian Family Movement Marriage Encounter. She enjoyed sewing , and singing Messiah at the Xmas Elyria musical arts society. Survivors include her daughters Sr. Mary Beth SND of Cleveland , Theresa (Ronald) Crayton of Grafton , Martha (Martin) Margevich of Hudson , sons Joseph (Sue) of Gelena , Thomas (Connie) of Wellington , Michael (Sherri) of Nashville , James (Maggie) of Vermilion , William of W. Salem , Daniel (Tami) of McArthur , 27 grandchildren , 12 great-grandchildren , sister Jean (John) Tierney of Elyria. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack in 1999 , parents Thomas and Coletta (nee Conrad) , brothers Dr. Thomas and John Terrence. Family will receive friends 4-7 PM Tuesday April 19,2016 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at St. Rt. 57) Elyria 440-322-4626, where the rosary will be recited at 3:45 PM Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM Wednesday April 20, 2016 at St. Mary Church 320 Middle Ave. Elyria, Ohio 44035 (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Rev. Fr. Charles Diedrick will be the Celebrant.
