Mary F. Csonka (nee Petrus) 89, of Elyria passed away peacefully at her residence on October 4, 2016. She was born May 26 , 1927 in Elyria a graduate of Elyria High School and was a lifelong resident of Elyria. Mary worked for Bendix Westinghouse as an Administrator.. She was quite a good cook of traditional Hungarian recipes and enjoyed passing them down to family and friends , enjoyed being with family , in later life Mary took up golf and became quite good playing many rounds of golf with her husband Steve. Survivors include her son Jeff (Karen) of Copley ,4 grandchildren , 1 great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband Steve in 2015 , son Mark , 1 sister and 1 brother. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of Wendy's Heart for their incredible compassion and kindness in caring for Mary. There will be No Visitation. All services will be Private. In lieu of flowers family suggests donations be made to the Hotsey Caddie Scholarship at the Elyria Country Club 41625 Oberlin Elyria Rd. Elyria, Ohio 44035.
