Mary-Cathryn Dutton

Mary-Cathryn “Cathy” Dutton 56, of Cleveland passed away Thursday August 5, 2026 at Ames Family Hospice in Westlake following a two year battle with cancer. She was born June 10, 1970 in Cleveland. Cathy had worked as a legal secretary for many years. She loved her grandchildren, spending time with family and friends, and enjoyed crafting. Survivors include a daughter; Marissa Lee, a son; Robert Lee, three grandchildren; Riley, Amelia, Hunter, with another; Nora due any day! Additional survivors include her mother; Mary Grace Dutton (nee: Anzalone), three sisters; Diana Steele (Arthur), Donna Lyszczyk (Chris), Janet Dutton, and a brother; Tony Dutton (Beverly). Cathy was preceded in death by her father; Clifford Dutton. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Thursday August 13, 2026 at St. Angela Merici Catholic Church 20970 Lorain Rd. Fairview Park, OH 44126, where Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM immediately following visitation. The Reverend Father Rich Samide, Pastor will be the Celebrant. Please meet at church. Burial will be private at Sunset Memorial Park in North Olmsted. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home of Elyria (440)322-4626.
