Martha Ann Pollock (nee Glosser), 85, of Elyria, Ohio passed away peacefully on August 22 at Arden Courts of Westlake surrounded by her loving family. Martha is survived by her husband, James Ronald Pollock, her children, Jennifer Lynn Pollock and Lesley Pollock Page; and her grandson, Bradley Bohres. She is predeceased by her parents, Agnes and Edwin Glosser and her sister, Marion (Glosser) Pollock. Martha attended Elyria High School and Bowling Green State University. While attending BGSU she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Education, was an active member of the Alpha Phi sorority and met her husband of 62 years, James Pollock. Martha taught business education for over 30 years in the Keystone, Elyria and Lorain County JVS High School systems. She impacted the lives of many students with her kind and generous heart over the years. Martha was an enthusiastic member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Elyria where she devoted her time to ringing bells in the bell choir and delivering flowers to elder church members at their homes. She also volunteered at the Elyria Food Bank. In her spare time, she loved playing bridge with her friends, jokingly referred to as the O.L.B.C (Old Lady Bridge Club). They even had sweat-shirts printed up with that moniker on it when they were all about 35 yrs. Old. Her family and friends will forever cherish her sense of humor and her selfless, giving spirit.
