IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Marlene A.
(Burrows) Webber
July 27, 1941 – November 29, 2024
On Friday the 29th of November, I was taken from my earthly body home to be with The Lord. My daughter was lovingly holding my hand.
I was greeted by my 2 loving sons Tommy and Chris, who preceded me in death.
I was born Marlene Anne Burrows to my parents Anne and Sterling Burrows. I had one brother, Thomas Burrows from Clarksfield, Ohio.
I attended New London High School and was a majorette all 4 years. I graduated with the class of 1959.
I met my husband and love of my life Thomas, at the Carolyn Theater my parents owned. We married November 9th 1963. We made our home and raised our family in Elyria until moving to Clarksfield in 1990. We finally settled back to Elyria in 2016.
Together we had 3 loving children, Tommy, Chris and Holly (Fry). I loved my family with my heart and soul.
I absolutely loved gardening and flowers. I made many crafts and flower arrangements. That's all I wanted to do. I made decorating for every holiday a sport. I made my family's Christmas, Halloween and birthdays so special. I retired as a correctional officer at the sheriff's office, but I was best known as a loving mother and home maker.
I had 6 loving grandchildren. Tommy had Kyle and Taylor Webber. Chris had Bobby and Megan Webber. Holly has Tiffany and Justin Eastman. Everyone enjoyed my farm home, it was my passion. I also had 3 great grandchildren, Jaxon Webber, Kyler Shays and Rex Webber. I want to be remembered lovingly as a great person, wonderful mom and the best wife. My family will share stories and all my decorations for years to come. Until we meet again, live life to the fullest, make memories, and love life. I would like to thank the staff at The Laurels of New London for my exceptional care. I was loved and spoiled.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.laubenthalmercado.com. Arrangements entrusted to Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home in Elyria.
