Mark C. Pedid 56, of Elyria passed away unexpectedly at Fairview General Hospital on Tuesday February 14, 2017. He was born August 18, 1960 in Cleveland. Mark worked as a printer for The Plain Dealer for the past eleven years; and had worked for Penton Publishing for twenty three years prior to The Plain Dealer. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, muscle cars, collecting, movies. Mark was a history buff and conservative Republican. Survivors include his wife of thirty three years; Rose M. (nee: Mellott), a daughter; Jacqueline M. Moss (Curtis) of Elyria, two sons; Ronald J. (Amy) of The Colony, TX, James R. of Elyria. Additional survivors include three grandchildren; Annabelle, Samantha (Josh), Alexis, two great grandchildren; Lyla and Emerson, a brother; Brian (Laura) of Virginia Beach, VA, two sisters; Wendi, Tobi. Mark was preceded in death by his parents; Ronald and Carol (nee: Clark) Pedid, a brother; Jeffrey (Karen), and two sisters; Cindi and Jodi. Family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Friday February 17, 2017 at The Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
