Marilyn J. Felix, (nee-Shaffer), 86, of LaGrange and formerly of Elyria passed away Monday September 5, 2022 at Keystone Pointe in LaGrange. She was born June 22, 1936 in Rosedale, WV. and was an Elyria area resident since 1955. Marilyn worked at Elyria City Furniture (former Value City Furniture) for 30 years, retiring as a bookkeeper in 1999. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Elyria and enjoyed gardening, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include her daughters, Laura Wickes and Janice Addington, 6 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Demps Felix on February 6, 2004 and her parents, Rex and Glena Shaffer. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday September 24, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church 114 Hope Court, Elyria. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services. Pastor Dean Davidson will Officiate.
