Marilyn Jean Loescher (nee: Puskas), 77, of Grafton, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2025. She was born in Elyria on May 14, 1947 to parents Nicholas and Rita (nee: Bach) Puskas. She married her sweetheart, Norman Loescher, Jr. in 1969. Marilyn was a homemaker, but also worked as a baker. She enjoyed bowling, but going on the five cruises with her husband to gamble and enjoy each other's company were her favorite. Survivors include her husband; sons, Scott Loescher, Norm (Carol Sanderson) III, brother, Nicholas (Helen) Puskas; grandchildren, Legend Brown, Kanon Wright, Monti Loescher; great-grandchildren, Anthony and Envy Brown. She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Deneen Nauth; sister, Carolyn Davis. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 14, 2025 from 4 p.m. -7 p.m. at the Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Road (at State Route 57) in Elyria. Funeral service will be Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Daniel Reinke will officiate. Interment will follow at Butternut Ridge Cemetery in Eaton Township.
