Marie Wilburn, (nee-Addington), 87, of Elyria passed away at her home on Tuesday May 11, 2021 from a long illness, surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 9, 1934 in Lawrence County, TN. and was an Elyria resident for most of her life. Marie was a member of the East Broad Street Church of Christ in Elyria, and enjoyed painting ceramics and spending time with her family. Survivors include her daughters, Deborah (Jim) Harris and Gail (Terry) Spriestersbach; son, Roger (Barbara) Wilburn; son-in-law, Terry Haas; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Sue Massey and Bertha Adair. She was preceded in death by her husband Bob in 2016, daughter, Lisa Haas, grandchildren, Dana, Michelle and Michael and brothers, Glen and Boyd Addington. Due to Covid-19, private family services were held on Friday May 14, 2021 at the East Broad Street Church of Christ. Pastor Terry Spriestersbach, Marie's son-in-law, Officiated. Private burial was at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the East Broad Street Church of Christ, 1125 East Broad Street Elyria, OH. 44035 or to the charity of the donor's choice.
