Marie K. Shirley, (nee-Kinchuck), 100, of Elyria passed away Monday August 8, 2016 at O'Neill Healthcare in North Ridgeville following a brief illness. She was born July 30, 1916 in New York, New York and was an Elyria resident for most of her life. Survivors include her sons, Daniel (Ruth) Shirley of Butler, PA., and Wes (Kathy) Shirley of Elyria; grandchildren, Danny (Denise), Ty (Heather), Doug, and Troy (Stephanie); 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert, 3 sisters, and 1 brother. The family will receive friends on Monday August 15, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until services immediately following at 10:00 a.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. The Rev. Dr. Janet Long, pastor of the Washington Avenue Christian Church will Officiate. Burial will be at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
