Marie L. Finnegan (nee Kutz) 87 of Elyria passed away Sunday July 24, 2016 at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born March 21 , 1929 in Elyria and was a graduate of Avon High School. Marie worked for Bendix as an Executive Secretary. Survivors include her daughter Mary Ann of Elyria , son Daniel (Becky) of Elyria , 3 grandchildren Cara , Ryan , and Brett. She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald in 1976 , son Michael , brother William , and parents Edward and Mary (nee Demboske). Family will receive friends 5-7 PM Thursday July 28, 2016 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at St. Rt. 57) Elyria 440-322-4626 , where funeral services will be held at 7PM. Rev. Fr. John C. Retar pastor of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini will officiate. A Memorial Mass will be held 10:30 AM Friday July 29, 2016 at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini 2143 Homewood Dr. Lorain, Ohio 44055. Rev. Fr. John C. Retar pastor will officiate. Burial will be private.
