Marie Alice Bliss (nee Gamble),85 of Elyria passed away Thursday December 11, 2014 at Keystone Pointe Nursing Home following a short illness. She was born March 1 , 1929 in Oberlin. Marie was a machine operator for Majestic Molding for 30 years until her retirement in 1992. For 21 years Marie and her Husband Donald Sr. spent winters in Florida. Survivors include her husband of 67 years Donald D. Sr., sons Donald D. Jr. (Sandy) of Wellington , Kenneth L. (Pam) of Westerville ,grandchildren Tammy (Dean) Lottman , Don S. (Lisa) Bliss, Missy (Scott) Story , Jason Bliss, 6 great-grandchildren , sisters Helen Shepheard , Francis Rotuno , brother Charles. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Loretta (nee Jenkins) ,sisters Mary Miller , Lil Tegtmeyer , Elanor Hinkle , Betty Brock , brothers Bill, Melvin , Paul , Cecil and David. Family will receive friends 1-4PM Sunday December 14, 2014 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
