Marian C. Malone, (nee-Wohlever), 97, of North Ridgeville passed away Thursday November 7, 2013 at the Lima Convalescent Home in Lima following a brief illness. She was born April 21, 1916 in LaGrange and was a North Ridgeville resident for most of her life. Marian was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in North Ridgeville. Survivors include her daughter, Shirley Joseph of Elyria; son, Gerald (Janet) Malone of North Ridgeville; 9 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Teresa Vessalo of North Ridgeville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas D. Malone, daughter, Norma Prentice, sisters, Catherine Barnard, Ruth Becker, Irene Klingshirn and Mary Agnes Lenzer and brothers, Joseph, Charles, James and Leo Wohlever Jr.. The family will receive friends Sunday 2:00-5:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. Closing prayers will be Monday November 11, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter Church 35777 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. The Rev. Bob Franco, pastor, will be the Celebrant. Burial will at St. Peter Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
