Margie Leona Jones (nee: Hall) 95, of Elyria passed away Wednesday July 26, 2023 at her home following a long illness. She was born November 15, 1927 in Verdie, KY.  Margie loved spending time with her family, reading her bible, doing word searches, and painting.  Survivors include her children; Robert C. Jones (Shirley) of Sheffield, Jerry M. Jones (Stephanie) of Elyria, Jerome J. Jones (Karen) of Vermilion, Sandra I. Kennedy (the late Danny) of War, WV., Linda S. Flynn (the late Arnold) of Vermilion. Additional survivors include twenty nine grandchildren, sixty eight great grandchildren. Margie was preceded in death by her husband of sixty two years; Robert C. Jones Sr., four children; Cynthia L. Carroll, Crystal L. Jaram Frye, Timothy W. Jones, David E. Jones, and her parents; Leonard and Vennie (nee: Matthews) Hall. Funeral services will be at 12:00 PM Saturday July 29, 2023 at The Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. Elyria (440)322-4626 where the family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of services at 12:00 Noon.  Pastor Chris Jones will officiate.
