Margaret A. Schanbacher (nee Fye) 86 of Elyria passed away Sunday June 29,2014 at Life Care Center of Elyria following a brief illness. She was born February 21, 1928 in Sullivan,Ohio. Margaret belonged to the Rebecca's and Royal Neighbors. She is survived by her husband of 68 years Russell E. , daughters Linda (John) Cooper of Elyria, Patricia of Elyria , son Russell Lee of Elyria , grandchildren Jason and April , great-granddaughter Sophia. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Elsie (nee Pearce). Family will receive friends 6-8 PM Tuesday July 1,2014 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
