Margaret Jane Conley

Margaret Jane Conley, 93, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2026, in Lorain, OH.

She was born on March 31, 1933 to Joseph and Martha White in their home in Alum Creek, WV. She married on December 31, 1953 to Namon B. Conley, Sr. and moved to Brunswick, OH to raise their seven children. Her greatest joy was watching her grandchildren and taking them on wild adventures.

She was preceded in death by her husband Namon, her daughters Vaudia Jeskey (Jeff) and Georgia Gayle Conley, sons Namon Conley Jr., and Bruce Conley, sisters June, Mabel, and Vida, and brothers Joseph, David, and Cashey.

Survivors include daughters, Martha Snehotta (Dieter), Alice Rooy (Glenn) Brenda Ostheim (Roland) and grandchildren Roland Ostheim, Jr., Marlana Sugerik (Matt), Bryan Snehotta (Faith), Glenn Rooy, Jr. (Elena), Angelique Reed (Matthew), Treana Stines (Chris), Rachel Hearns, and Jeanette Hearns. She also loved and adored her 18 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

She will be cremated and later laid to rest next to her husband of 51 years and two children in West Virginia. Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Elyria will be overseeing the arrangements. There will be no public service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you just take some extra time to spend with your loved ones.
