Margaret Mary Burrer (nee: Knittel) 88, of LaGrange passed away Monday October 20, 2014 at Keystone Pointe in LaGrange following a short illness. She was born June 20, 1926 in Cleveland. Margaret was the Office Manager at Penfound Insurance. She was a member of St. Mary Church in Elyria, and was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society. Margaret enjoyed doing yardwork and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Survivors include two daughters; Mary Lou Johnson (Sky) of LaGrange, Peg Hicks (Mike) of Georgia, four sons; Tom (Shelly) of Litchfield, Mick (Shirley), Jim (Kathy), Rich (Donna) all of LaGrange, a sister; Theresa Motto of Wellington, and a brother; John Knittel (Barb) of North Ridgeville, additional survivors include fourteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Richard J., two brothers; Joseph and Frank Knittel, and her parents; Joseph and Theresa (nee: Gill) Knittel. The family will receive friends 4-7 PM Wednesday October 22, 2014 at The Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57) Elyria. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Thursday October 23, 2014 at St. Mary Church 320 Middle Ave. Elyria, OH 44035 (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH) Rev. Fr. Charles T.
