Marcia H. Hawk

Marcia H. Hawk (nee: Dunk), 77, of LaGrange Township, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on Tuesday, August 4, 2026. She was born in Trenton, New Jersey to parents Milnor and Helen (nee: Forman) on July 10, 1949.

Marcia was a graduate of Kent State University where she received a master’s degree in Early Childhood Development. Her compassionate nature led her to work as a preschool multi-handicapped teacher for Elyria City Schools for over 30 years. She had a passion for baking, sharing recipes with close friends, and travelling across the country with her husband, Robert. Her determination to keep moving forward while diagnosed with Primary Lateral Sclerosis was an inspiration for her friends and family. She never quit.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Robert; daughter, Karin (JR) Rayl; son, Robert (Leah) Hawk; and grandchildren, Taylor and Brody. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Marilyn Briley. A private interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery will take place in the future.
