Manuel G. Ortiz 38, of Elyria passed away unexpectedly on Friday September 2, 2016. He was born December 1, 2016 in Elyria. Manny's children were the love of his life. He treasured spending time with family, friends, and enjoyed grilling out for them, and enjoyed music. Manny will continue to live through others by his selfless organ donation. Survivors include his wife of fifteen years; Tara (nee: Morrison), three daughters, Alicea, Jada, Riley, four sons; Anthony, Jonathen, Christian, Charles. Additional survivors include his mother; Charlene Ortiz (nee: Holcomb) of New London, two sisters; Leiza Ortiz of Atlanta, GA, Deanna Ortiz of Avon. Manny was preceded in death by his father; Manuel W. Ortiz. A Celebration of Manny's Life will be held from 3-6 PM Saturday September 17, 2016 at The Lorain Moose Lodge 204 W. 5th St. Lorain, OH 44052. Pastor Michelle Nary will officiate.
