MACEL ILENE JOHNSON (nee: Sullivan) 83, of Grafton passed away Thursday August 15, 2019 at O'Neill Healthcare in North Ridgeville following a lengthy illness. She was born February 9, 1936 in Gilmer County, WV. Macel had worked as a painter for Worthington Ball. She enjoyed time with her family, yard work; especially in her flower gardens, quilting, doll collecting, and bowling. Survivors include two sons; Jeff Johnson (Terry) of Grafton, James Johnson (Judy) of Bloomsbury, NJ., additional survivors include nine grandchildren; Dawn, Kris, Cathy, Scott, Raelyn, Danny, Amanda, Connor, Jack, nine great grandchildren, and a brother; James "Fred" Sullivan (Shirley) of Parkersburg, WV. Macel was preceded in death by her loving husband of fifty seven years; Franklin, a daughter Cynthia Page (the late Ken), her parents; Homer and Ethel (nee: Butler) Sullivan, five sisters; Mabel, Millie, Marge, Mary Helen, Marilyn. Family will receive friends 5-7 PM Friday August 23, 2019 at The Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
