Lynn Johnson "Mrs. A"  Accavallo passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024 after a long illness.  She was born on April 12, 1945 in Negaunee, Michigan to Blanche and Roy Johnson.  Lynn was the youngest of five children.  Lynn married Vince Accavallo on November 6, 1965.   After a few years they settled in Elyria, Ohio where they lived before moving to LaGrange, Ohio in 1978.  They created a family and wonderful life together with 4 children. Lynn graduated from Negaunee High School in 1963 and attended Valparaiso University in Indiana. She became a medical secretary for the Children's Orthopedic Clinic at Elyria Memorial Hospital.   After she had her 4 children, Lynn spent her career teaching Preschool at Emmanuel Lutheran Church.  For 25 years, she helped hundreds of children get a great start to their education.  She was known as "Mrs. A" by all her students and families.  It was a job she loved and she loved every child she knew. Lynn will be remembered for so many things, but most of all her infectious laugh and kindness to everyone she met.  Lynn always stopped to talk to everyone and made their day better, just because she took the time to say hello. Lynn is survived by her husband, Vince, their 3 daughters, Justina (Scott) Peters, Juliane Gillespie, Jennifer (Tom) Seighman, and son Joseph (Amanda) Accavallo.  Lynn also had 9 grandchildren and 1 great grand daughter - Jillian, McKenah, Delaney, Tyrus, Owen, Kennedy, Isabel, Emerson, McKinley, and Raleigh.  Our family was blessed with the care that she received by the staff at Cardinal Court Assisted Living and Memory Care in Strongsville, Ohio. We are so grateful to Gentiva Hospice who guided us along this journey.  Thank you to our friends and family who stood by us during this difficult time.
