Gabriel Dean Bales, 6 months, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus following a brief illness. He was joined in Heaven by his twin brother, Lucas Dean Bales on Sunday September 26, 2021 also at the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus following a brief illness. The brothers were born on March 17, 2021 at Fairview General Hospital. Both were baptized members of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Grafton. Survivors include their parents, Kevin Dean and Jessica (nee-Walsh) Bales; maternal grandparents, William Walsh and Suzanne Plante; paternal grandparents, Jeffery Dean and Linda Bales; great-grandparents, Patricia Walsh and Harold and Jacqueline Boone, and many other loving aunts, uncles and cousins. They were preceded in death by their maternal grandmother, Joanne Kmets Walsh, other great-grandparents and loving relatives. The family will receive friends Friday, 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 708 Erie St., Grafton. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday October 2, 2021 in the Sanctuary of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church. Please Meet at Church. Funeral Mass will be live streamed on the Our Lady Queen of Peace website. The Rev. Fr. John P. Seabold, pastor, will be the Celebrant. covid protocols and facial covering are required for all services. Christian burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Grafton. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to be made to the charity of choice to benefit children's health.
