Loverenne Patricia Hardway

Loverenne P. Hardway (nee Fitzwater), age 84, of Elyria, Ohio, passed away on August 16, 2026 at UH Elyria Medical Center, surrounded by family. Affectionately known as Love, she was a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend and she will be deeply missed. She was born on May 23, 1942 in Marion County, West Virginia. She worked at Parker Hannifin in Elyria, retiring in 2002 as a machine operator. Loverenne’s favorite way to spend her time was with her family, especially her two great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed reading, shopping, and traveling. She is survived by her son, Richard Hardway; granddaughter, Heather (Dan) Lang; great-grandchildren, Blake and Kinsley Lang, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Romey Hardway; parents, Forrest and Neva (nee Wolfe) Fitzwater, four brothers and one sister. A celebration of Loverennes life will be held from 3 - 6 P.M. Sunday, September 27, 2026 at the North Park Community Center at 1230 Elm Street in Grafton. The family invites all who knew her to attend and share their favorite memories.
