Lottie Mary Ciskal (nee: Kochan) 98, of Elyria passed away Wednesday January 1, 2025 at Wesleyan Village in Elyria following a long illness.  She was born June 27, 1926 in Perry, NY.  Lottie lived in Lorain for many years and was a member of St. Stanislaus Church.  She was more recently a member of St. Mary Church in Elyria, and had worked several jobs over the years; at ice cream parlor, as a bank teller, the Pentagon as a secretary during World War II, a teacher's aide, and as a secretary at United Garage Doors. She treasured spending time with her family, and enjoyed knitting, bowling, dancing, singing, and birds.  Survivors include her children; Carolyn Bryant (Steve), Judy Riedel (Ray), Gary Ciskal (Elaine). Additional survivors include her grandchildren; Anna Thomas (Dan), Debbie Andrews (Antony), Alicia Riedel, Matthew Riedel, Carolyn Riedel, Laura Mitchell (Ed), Kelley Bryant, Kevin Bryant, great grandchildren; Sam, Evan, Simon, and Ashton Thomas, Josephine and Rosemary Andrews, Winter Mitchell, and one on the way, and two brothers; John and Chester Kochan.   Lottie was preceded in death by her husband; Michael Ciskal, a son; Paul David, her parents; Kazimierz and Mary (nee: Bienick) Kochan, and four siblings; Stanley Kochan, Daisy Bruno, Sue Kraft, Robert "Zippy" Kochan. The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM Saturday January 11, 2025 in The Weigand Room at St. Mary Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:30 AM Saturday January 11, 2025 in St., Mary Church 320 Middle Ave. Elyria, OH 44035 where The Reverend Father Charles T. Diedrick, Pastor will be the Celebrant. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Lorain. The family suggests that memorial contributions in Lottie's memory be sent to St. Mary Church or Wesleyan Village 807 West Ave. Elyria, OH 44035.
