Lorraine M. Cummings, (nee-Demick), 70, of Elyria passed away Saturday June 15, 2019 at her home following a sudden illness. She was born February 6, 1949 in Cleveland and has been an Elyria resident for the past 3 years, coming from Cleveland. Lorraine was the former co-owner of Chip's Bait and Tackle Shop in Cleveland for more than 20 years and was an avid Cleveland Indians Baseball fan. Survivors include her daughters, Lisa (Bill) Boesken and Sue (Hamdy) Mohamed; son, Buck (Melissa) Cummings; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Jennie Galati and Nancy Curry; brother, John Demick. The family will receive friends Friday 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday June 22, 2019 in the funeral home. The Rev. Daniel Reinke will Officiate. Burial will be at Westpark Cemetery, Cleveland.
