Loretta Lillian Dawson, (nee-Lipstraw), 92, went to be with her Lord and Family on March 24, 2025 after a long struggle with kidney failure. She was the youngest of seven children of Gustav and Lillian Lipstraw of Grayton, Ohio. Loretta attended Capital University and Baldwin Wallace achieving a Masters Degree in Special Education, teaching in Elyria, Lorain City and Various county schools. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Kennedy Dawson and her children David, Christine and Brian. She is survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great- nephews and many friends. Living most of her life in LaGrange, Ohio, she was an active member of LaGrange Global Methodist Church for over 60 years. The family wishes to express their Most sincere gratitude to her "Angels", Mr. and Mrs. Roger and Cindy Klinect for the many years of Love and Care for Loretta.

11:00 a.m. Graveside service will take place on Saturday May 31st at River Road Cemetery, LaGrange. Attendees are welcome to join a caravan to the Cemetery forming in the Church Parking Lot at 10:30 a.m.

A luncheon will be held following the service at LaGrange Global Methodist Church at 12:00 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to the LaGrange Global Methodist Church.
