Lorene A. Elbert, (nee-Gannon), 76, of Grafton passed away Thursday January 21, 2016 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born September 8, 1939 in Lorain and was an Elyria/Grafton resident for most of her life. Lorene was a Realtor for more than 30 years, and was Co-Founder of the Northern Ohio Realty Company. She was a a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Elyria, a member of the National Board of Realtors, and a social member of the Elyria Knights of Columbus. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her daughter, Lisa Pulver of Manhattan Beach, CA.; sons, Louis J. (Colleen), of Elyria, Patrick J. (Missy) of Amherst, Lorne J. III (Gwen) of Grafton and Joseph J. (Jennifer) of Elyria; son-in-law R. Thomas Laubenthal of Grafton; grandchildren, Katherine, Louis Jr., Kelly, Victoria, Erin, Ryan, Lindsey, Matthew, Luke, Danielle, Lorne IV, Elizabeth, Alexis, Joseph Jr. and Benjamin. She was preceded in death by her husband Lorne J. Elbert Jr. in 2012, daughter Renee' Laubenthal in 2009, her parents, Patrick and Thelma Gannon and a brother, Robert Gannon. The family will receive friends Monday 4:00-7:00 p.m. in the Weigand Room of St. Mary Church 320 Middle Ave., Elyria. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday January 26, 2016 at 10:00 in St. Mary Church. (Please meet at church). The Rev. Charles Diedrick, pastor, will be the Celebrant. Entombment will be in the family Mausoleum at St. Mary Cemetery, Elyria.
