Logan J. Stiner 18, of LaGrange passed away at home unexpectedly on Tuesday May 27, 2014. He was born January 29, 1996 in Elyria. Logan was a loving, kind, and bright young man with a tremendous amount of future promise. He was a Senior at Keystone High School in Lagrange, where he was a member of The National Honor Society, and earned a cumulative grade point average of 4.3 and was part of the post graduate program. He was a skilled wrestler for the past 7 years, and ended his senior year with a record of 128 wins, and was a state qualifier. He was best known for his smile and humor and found joy in every person he met. When asked what he loved doing he always responded by noting that time spent with friends, including his brother, and girlfriend Morgan Myers was the best. He liked to relax at night watching TV with his brother Dylan and always made time to end his days with an "I love you," for everyone. Logan was accepted at Toledo University for fall enrollment and planned to study Chemical Engineering. He was thrilled to have Morgan joining him there to continue her studies. He always treasured spending quality time with his family and friends, going to movies, volunteering with Special Olympics, working at Grey Hawk Golf Course in LaGrange with his brother Dylan, his friends and boss & coworkers. When Logan had time at wrestling season, he loved spending time at his family's camp in Pennsylvania hunting, with his father, brother Dylan, his Pap, Ron, his Uncle Larry and other family members. Logan's contagious smile was known to light up the day. Survivors include his parents; Dennis R. and Katie A. (nee: Franklin) Stiner of LaGrange, a brother; Dylan R. Stiner of LaGrange, additional survivors include his paternal grandparents; Ronald and Barbara (nee:Sanker) Stiner of Oberlin, several aunts, uncles and cousins, and his girlfriend; Morgan Myers of LaGrange. Logan was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Richard and Patricia (nee: McClune) Franklin.
