Lloyd H. Petty 91 of Grafton passed away Wednesday July 20, 2016 at Story Point of Avon Lake. He was born July 18, 1925 in Cleveland. Lloyd worked for Moen as the Director of Engineering. He graduated from Rocky River High School and earned a Bachelor's of Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University. Lloyd enjoyed fishing , boating , gardening , reading and mostly spending time with family. Lloyd served his Country in the Army Air Corps. During WWII where he received the American Theater Service Medal , Good Conduct Medal and WWII Victory Medal. Survivors include his 3 sons Roger (Gail) of Carlsbad, Ca. , James (Cheryl) of Columbia Station , Keith (Kelly) of Olmsted Falls , 3 grandchildren Julie , Scott (Christina) and Mikel Petty. He was preceded in death by his wife Elaine (nee Black) on April 28, 2013 , parents Royal and Ora Petty, and Sister Eugenia Riff. No Visitation. Burial will be held at a later date at Ohio Western Reserve Cemetery (Rittman, Ohio).
