Lloyd L. Davis 87, of Grafton passed away at his home on Thursday July 27, 2017, surrounded by his family after a lengthy illness. He was born November 24, 1929 in St. Clairsville, OH and moved to Elyria in 1955. He was employed by General Motors and retired in 1988. Lloyd had many hobbies and especially enjoyed lapidary. He was an avid fisherman and was known by many for his fly tying ability. He also enjoyed civic activities, gardening and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He will always be remembered for lending a hand and his warm smile. Survivors include his wife of sixty five years; Fay M. (nee: Kunkle), five daughters; Deborah L. Young (Calvin) of Grant Town, WV., Darlene M. DeMeter of Berlin Heights, Dianne M. Davis of Grafton, Dawn M. Patouhas (Nicholas) of Elyria, Denise M. Davis of Elyria, two sons; Dale L.R. and Darryl L. J. both of Grafton. Additional survivors include eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren, a sister; Harriet Fisher, and a brother Howard. Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents; Floyd and Hilda (nee: Ramsay) Davis, and a sister; Evelyn. All services are private. Burial will be at Brookdale Cemetery in Elyria.
