Linda Lee Kindle

Linda Lee Kindle (nee: Anderson) 77, of Elyria, passed away peacefully on her birthday on February 24, 2026. A lifelong resident of Elyria, Linda lived her life with an open heart, a gentle spirit, and a deep love for both her family and her faith. She found great joy in traveling the world alongside her beloved husband, especially on cruises that carried them across oceans and into new adventures. Whether exploring distant shores or simply watching the sunset from a ship’s deck, Linda treasured every journey they shared, creating memories that would last a lifetime.

Above all else, Linda’s greatest pride and joy were her grandchildren. They were the light of her life, and she delighted in celebrating their milestones, sharing stories, and surrounding them with unconditional love. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life. A devoted life member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Elyria, Linda faithfully served in the Helping Hands ministry and as a Eucharistic Minister, always offering comfort, kindness, and compassion to those in need. Her presence brought warmth to every room, and her legacy of love, service, and devotion will continue to live on in all who were blessed to know her.

Survivors include her husband, Leigh, whom she married in October 1968; sons, Mark (Lisa), David (Tricia); brother, Greg (Mary) Anderson; grandchildren, Jack, Susannah, James, and Charlotte. Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Roger and Marjorie Anderson, and grandchildren, Katelyn and Michael.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 2, 2026 from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. at Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Road (at State Route 57) in Elyria. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church 320 Middle Ave in Elyria (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH) Reverend Father Charles T. Diedrick, pastor will be the Celebrant. Burial will immediately follow at Brookdale Cemetery in Elyria.
