Linda M. Diedrick, (nee-Zaremba), 64, of LaGrange passed away Tuesday September 8, 2015 at her home following a long illness. She was born July 5, 1951 in Elyria and was a lifelong Grafton/LaGrange area resident. Linda was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Grafton where she served as principle of the PSR program for 24 years and was also a Eucharistic Minister and Lector. She was a 1969 Midview High School graduate, earned a B.A. Degree in Mathematics from Ursuline College and a Master's Degree in Education from Bowling Green State University. Linda taught math at Eastern Heights Junior High School, Western Reserve High School and the Lorain County Joint Vocational School, retiring after 33 years. She was formerly very involved in 4-H and with Keystone High School activities, and enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening. Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Ken; son, Keith of Rio, WI.; mother, Agnes (nee-Wirkner) Zaremba of Grafton; In-Laws, Rev. Fr. Charlie Diedrick, Pat and Donna Humphrey, Dan and Barb Hornbeek, Ted and Jennifer Diedrick, Patty Feakins, Randy and Mary Lou Kula and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Robert Zaremba on March 26, 2015 and in-laws, Carl and Dorothy Diedrick. The family will receive friends Thursday 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. Friends will also be received on Friday September 11, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until a 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church 708 Erie St. Grafton. The Rev. Fr. Charlie Diedrick, the Rev. Fr. John Seabold and the Rev. Mr. Patrick Humphrey will be the Celebrants.
