Lillian V. Fildes (nee Tkacs),92, of Elyria passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at Wesleyan Village. Mrs. Fildes attended Elyria High School, played accordion and string instruments, was in numerous musical groups, and was a majorette. She was a member of St. Mary Church in Elyria where she became a a Eucharistic Minister. She was involved with Gentle Woman Fellowship, Catholic Charismatic Prayer Groups, and enjoyed cooking, growing and sharing daffodils, taking pictures, traveling, and time with her family. She is survived by her sister Evelyn Webber: 5 sons: Larry, Mark, Neal, Brian, and Roy: 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents Michael Tkacs and Vera (Gembka), her sister Dorothy Barnett, and her husband of 60 years Jack D. Fildes. Family will receive friends from 10 AM- 11 AM Friday, July 30, 2021at St. Mary Church (Weigand Room), 320 Middle Ave. Elyria, Oh 44035, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Rev. Fr.
