Levi F. "Bud" Sell, 87, of Elyria passed away Friday May 6, 2016 at Mercy New Life Hospice Center in Lorain following a brief illness. He was born November 25, 1928 in Leadmine, WV. And was an Elyria resident for most of his life. Bud worked as a tow motor operator for the General Motors Company Parma Plant for 30 years, retiring in 1986. He was a member of the Elyria Eagles Aerie 431. Survivors include his companion of 54 years, Marie Summers; grandchildren, Jacie, Jarolyn, Danny, and Tonya; 6 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; son-in-law, Wayne Delaney; sisters, Wilma Richards, Eleanor (Gary) Huff, Jean Long and Joann Reeves; brother, Henry Sell. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jessie Delaney in 2016, and brothers, Judd, Eugene and Norman Sell. The family will receive friends on Tuesday May 10, 2016 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria, where Services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Pastor Tom Alexander will Officiate. Burial will be private.
