Lester G. Peyton 83 of Grafton passed away Sunday December 21, 2014 at his residence following a lengthy illness. He was born February 26, 1931 in Lakewood, Ohio. Lester was a 1949 graduate of West Tech High School. He worked for Lawyers Title Insurance Corporation starting in 1950 and eventually became their manager for the Elyria, Sandusky and Cleveland offices. Lester served his Country in the United States Army during Korea. He was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Grafton , Elyria K of C and was an active member of AA for 45 years.Lester enjoyed Boating, Fishing, playing the Organ , Golfing, Bowling, and built models. Survivors include his wife of 63 years Jane (nee Schwan) , daughters Patricia (Brian) Essenmacher of LaGrange, Karen (Richard) Radachi of Grafton , Nancy (Richard) Blair of Parma ,Kathleen "Kitty" (Greg) Frost of Auburn Township , grandchildren Michael (Rebecca) Essenmacher , Kevin Essenmacher ,Patrick (Elizabeth) Radachi , Scott Radachi , Stephen (Stefanie) Radachi , Hayley Radachi , Thomas Radachi , Monica (Zach) Whitehurst , Alyssa Frost , great-grandchildren Peyton & Benjamin Essenmacher , Alex Radachi, sister Linda Cooper of Savannah, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents Chester Peyton and Alice Cook , sister Phyllis Gerritson , twin brother Chester (Ruth).
