Lester Thomas Freeman, 90, of Elyria passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021 at his home. He was born May 8, 1931 in Elyria and was a lifelong resident of the area graduating from Elyria High School. Lester was employed by General Industries in production. Lester was active in Lorain County sports for his entire life, in Baseball, Basketball, Bowling and Golf with many awards. He enjoyed playing, coaching and watching. Lester was a wonderful, husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by his entire family. Survivors include his wife of 62 years Rose (nee Preston); daughter, Susan (Walter) Rowe; sons, Thomas Freeman (Heidy), David Freeman (Laurie), and Paul Freeman (Connie); grandchildren, Devan ( Rob), Nolan, Kurt, Allison, and Sarah; brother, Roger Freeman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Myron and Mabel Freeman (nee Zacharia).
