Lawrence Dell Knipper, 63, passed away Tuesday at the Weber Healthcare Center in Wellington following a lifelong illness. He was born March 24, 1951 in Elyria and was a lifelong area resident. Larry was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Elyria and enjoyed watching television and spending time with his late girlfriend, Lizzy. Survivors include his brother Dean R. Knipper of Amherst( and his former wife and devoted friend, Lynn Finley of Mansfield, TX.); brother-in-law, Tim (Carla) Dane of Amherst; nieces, Maureen (nee-Dane) (Thom) Johnson of Amherst, and Dianna Dane of Lorain; nephews, Robert Dean (Cristina) Knipper of Venus, TX., and Tom Dane of Avon. He was preceded in death by his mother Barbara in 1995, father, Robert in 2001 and sister, Linda Dane. A Christian Memorial Mass will be Celebrated on Tuesday March 24, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Agnes Church 611 Lake Ave., Elyria. The Rev. Fr. Albert Veigas, pastor, will be the Celebrant. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery, Elyria. In liue of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Murray Ridge Center 1091 Infirmary Rd. Elyria, OH. 44035.
