Lawrence W. Dick, 77, of Elyria passed away Thursday September 3, 2015 at U.H. Elyria Medical Center following a brief illness. He was born March 23, 1938 in Cleveland and was a Elyria resident for many years. Larry retired from the former Advance Brush Company in Cleveland where he worked as a machinist for 38 years. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Loretta (nee- Simmons); daughters, Jennifer (Lee) Cole of Elyria, Sherrie (John) Kman of Cleveland and Melissa (Robert) Stepanov of St. Petersburg, FL; sons, Robert (Leslie) Dick of North Ridgeville and William (Gina) Simmons of Savannah, GA.; grandchildren, Gregory and Ashley; great-granddaughter, Eliza; sister, Shirley Stehura of Cleveland. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Shannon.
