Larry Joseph Kokoski, 63, of Elyria passed away Friday, January 4, 2019 at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus after a long illness surrounded by his family. He was born September 16, 1955 in Elyria and was a lifelong resident. Larry worked for Ford Motor Co. Lorain Plant and retired in 2006 after 30 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, music (especially Alabama), traveling, entertaining family and friends, and boating at Beaver Park North Marina. He had a deep and abiding love for his family, especially his grandchildren. Larry was the life of the party and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Debby (nee Puzak); daughters Stacey (Bryant) Lieux of Avon, Valerie Clarke and Jodi Kokoski both of Elyria; grandchildren Aryel, Alex, Emma, and Owen ; Benjamin, Audrey ; sisters Karen Walker, Sheryl (Rick) Cooperider both of Elyria; brothers Walter Byron (Connie) , Carl (Jeannie), Steven all of Elyria, Alan of Lorain; many nieces, nephews and friends he considered family. He was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Doris Kokoski (nee Lauer). Larry lived a good life, and as he would say, "G is for goot!"
