Larry J. Kawell, 81, of Elyria passed away Saturday January 19, 2019 at his home following a long illness. He was born April 8, 1937 in Versailles, MO., and was an Elyria resident for most of his life. Larry worked as a machinist at TRW, proudly served his country in the United States Army and enjoyed golfing, fishing and gardening. Survivors include his daughters, Kelly Kawell, Karrie Kawell and Kristine (Dana) Kawell- Sizemore; grandchildren,Larry, Ashley, Raquel, Tony, Deanna and Shaylee; great-grandchildren, Jayden, Cameron, Jordan, Iyana, Zahir, Aniyah, Keylee, Harper and Lindsey. He was preceded in death by his wife Geraldine on December 21, 2018, daughter, Kimmy Kawell in 2017 and a brother, Richard Kawell. All services and burial will be private.
