Kyle A. Kocher 35, of Elyria passed away unexpectedly Sunday December 26, 2021 at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center. He was born January 13, 1986 at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. Kyle worked as a machinist at Bettcher Industries. He treasured spending time with family, and enjoyed canoeing, handcrafting gifts and cooking. Survivors include his wife of seven years; Danielle D. (nee: Wransky) a daughter; Gemma R. Kocher of Elyria, a son; Gabriel A. Kocher of Elyria, his parents; Erin R. Hoak (Richard) of LaGrange, Kevin Kocher of Canton. Additional survivors include a sister; Kesley Tanko (Josh) of Delaware, OH., and three nieces; Gracelyn, Addisyn, Mila. A Celebration of Kyle's life will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday December 30, 2021 in The Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57) Elyria (440)322-4626 where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until time of services at 7:00 PM on Thursday. Burial will be private.
