Kurt A. Breunig, J.D., 59, of Grafton passed away Tuesday November 12, 2013 following a sudden illness. He was born January 3, 1954 in Cleveland. Kurt was a practicing Attorney at Law in Elyria for the past 34 years. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Elyria, and enjoyed fly fishing and spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Patricia (nee-Ponchock); sons, Erik (Kelly) Breunig of Elyria, Brian Breunig of Elyria and Kyle (Amanda) Breunig of Grafton; mother, Eleanore Breunig of Highland Heights; brother, Bruce (Carol) Breunig of Canfield, and was a loving uncle to many. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Breunig. The family will receive friends Sunday 2:00-5:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday November 18, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Church 320 Middle Ave., Elyria (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). The Rev. Fr.
