Kevin R. Smith 61, of Las Vegas, formerly of Grafton, passed away Saturday May 27, 2017 in Las Vegas following a brief illness. Kevin was born February 2, 1956 in Elyria to Richard J. and Rose M. Smith (nee McCloskey). Kevin was a 1974 graduate of Midview High School. He enjoyed golf, going on cruises, auto racing and warm weather. Survivors include his sons Jonathan (Janelle Stoltzfus) and Thomas both of Lititz, PA. His adored grandchildren Riley and Kelsey. His cherished companion Cathy Holmes. Siblings Stephanie Smith of Grafton, Kathleen (Kevin) Swartz of Millersville, Maryland, Mary Margaret (Arthur) Atherton of Avon Lake, Michelle (Donnie) Rader of Valley City, Richard (Freda) Smith of Grafton, Thomas of Grafton. Special Cousin and Godmother Barbara Eisele, special Cousin Dan Eisele and the entire Eisele family, many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Kevin was preceded in death by a brother Timothy Paul in 1959.
