Kerry K. Kirkpatrick 75, of Elyria passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday January 26, 2025 following a long illness.  He was born February 15, 1949 in Elyria. Kerry retired from truck driving.  He treasured spending time with family and friends, and was passionate about car racing, and enjoyed various outdoor activities.  Kerry will be loved and missed by all who knew him.  Survivors include his wife of twenty five years; Rosalie M. (nee: DeMarco), a daughter; Katy A. Sherrill (Eric), a son; Dean Zayatz, and six grandchildren; Quentin, Mackenzie, Olivia, Emily, Blake, and Jaxon.  Kerry was preceded in death by a son; Kameron K, Kirkpatrick, his parents; Willard and Mary (nee: Tipton) Kirkpatrick, two sisters; Lisa and Cindy, and a brother; Steve.  A celebration of Kerry's life will be 11:00 AM Saturday February 8, 2025 at The Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (Elyria (440)322-4626 where the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until time of services at 11:00 AM.  Pastor Gary Lauzon will officiate.  Burial will be private.
