Kenneth D. Sito, 77, of Elyria passed away Friday October 1, 2021 at his home following a brief illness. He was born March 17, 1944 in Elyria and was a lifelong Elyria resident. Ken worked as an Independent Agent for Nationwide Insurance. He served in the United States Marine Corps. In Viet Nam, was a member of the former Holy Cross Catholic Church, a member of the Elyria United Polish Club, V.F.W. Post 1079 and AMVETS Post 32. An avid golfer, he was a past champion of the former Spring Valley Country Club. Survivors include his wife, Kathleen (nee-Bakel); son, Jarrod (Anne) Sito; step-son, Chris (Marla) Peltier; grandchildren, Abigail, Oliver, Jane, Madison and Caden; sister, Janet Sito; brothers, Dave (Linda) Sito, Don (Joan) Sito, Jack (Jane) Sito and Chris (Debbie) Sito. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Nicole Renee Sito, parents, Tony and Julia Sito (nee-Harrell) and a brother, Dave (wife, Linda) Sito. All services and burial will be private. The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to any veteran's organization of the donor's choice.
