Kenneth R. "Kenny" Langford 29, of Sheffield Twp. passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday January 17, 2020. He was born August 27, 1990 in Elyria. Kenny had worked for the family business D.L. Construction as an equipment operator. He loved running a bulldozer, and spending time with son and family. Kenny was also an avid video gamer. Survivors include a son; Daniel Michael Langford of Sheffield Twp., his parents; Daniel L. Langford of Elyria, Robin R. Lengyel (nee: Miller) (Allan) of Wakeman, a sister; Jennifer L. Szabo (Mark) of Elyria, paternal grandparents; Kenneth E. Langford (the late Roslyn and the late Mary) of Elyria Twp., maternal grandparents; the late Robert John "Bob" and Lela Mae Miller (nee: Hamby), and his girlfriend; Missy Grey of Sheffield Twp. The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM on Friday January 24, 2020 at The Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57) Elyria (440)322-4626 where funeral services will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday January 25, 2020. The Reverend Troy Smith of Pilgrim United Church of Christ will officiate.
