Kenneth E. "Kenny" Addington, 56, of Elyria passed away Thursday April 4, 2013 at EMH Regional Medical Center following a sudden illness. He was born March 7, 1957 in Elyria and was a lifelong Elyria resident. Kenny worked at the Ford Motor Company in Avon Lake for 36 years, retiring from the repair department in 2012. He was a 1975 Elyria High School graduate, a member of the Elyria AMVETS Post 32, and enjoyed fishing, gardening and was a avid Cleveland Browns football fan. Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Janice (nee-Felix); sons, Cody Addington of Raleigh, NC. And Cpl. Matthew Addington of Quantico, VA.; mother and step-father, Genell and Ray Ware of Summertown, TN.; brother, Tim (Lori) Addington of Elyria. He was preceded in death by his father and step-mother, Homer and Patricia Addington. All services will be private.
