Kathryn Louise "Katie" Seabold (nee: Wolf) 87, of LaGrange passed away at home on Tuesday August 22, 2017 following a brief illness. She was born September 29, 1929 in Litchfield. Katie was a 1947 Penfield High School graduate, and had formerly owned and operated K & D Catering. She had been employed by The Keystone School District as a Head Cook at Penfield Elementary School. Katie was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, and the former Immaculate Conception Altar and Rosary Society. Katie was always quick to support anyone in need with a package of bakery in one hand and an open heart. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and cooking. Survivors include a daughter; Diane Lewis (James) of Roanoke, VA., five sons; Don of Pittsfield, Terry (Vicky) of Wapakoneta, Jim (Joan) of Grafton, Chris (Gina) of Wellington, The Reverend Father John P. Seabold of Grafton, additional survivors include thirteen grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren, two sisters; Irene McMullen (Tim) of LaGrange, Judy Klingshirn (the late Clem) of LaGrange, four brothers; Don (the late Eleanor) of Colorado, Jacob (Dee) of Colorado, Fred, Richard (Dolores) of Spencer. Katie was preceded in death by a son; Carl, grandson: Stephen, great granddaughter: Adeline Tatro, her mother and step father; Mary Louise Wolf (nee: Chapman), Frederick Lloyd Wolf, four sisters; Alice DeLong (Meryl), Mary Fortune (Sheldon), Ruth Miller ( Bernard), Clair Wolf. The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM Friday August 25, 2017 at The Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57) Elyria (440)322-4626. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Saturday August 26, 2017 at Our Lady Queen Of Peace Catholic Church 708 Erie St. Grafton, OH 44040 where the family will also receive friends from 10:00 AM until time of Mass at 11:00 AM. (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH) Katie's son; The Reverend Father John P. Seabold, Pastor, will be the Celebrant. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery in Grafton.
