Kathleen B. Ondo, (nee-Szloboda), 75, of Elyria passed away Thursday at EMH Healthcare following a sudden illness. She was born August 1, 1936 in Elyria and was a lifelong Elyria resident. Kathleen worked for many years in administration at EMH Healthcare. She was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall in Elyria, the Elyria Moose Lodge #778 and was a very talented artist who enjoyed shopping. Survivors include her daughter, Debra (Lynn) Ondo of Holmes, NY. ; sons, Richard Ondo of Newbury, OH. And Jeffrey (Monica) Ondo of Elyria; 4 grandchildren; brother, John Szloboda of Elyria. She was preceded in death by a sister, Joan Szloboda. Their will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday September 19, 2011 at the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall 39099 Chestnut Ridge Rd., Elyria. Mr. Robert Stash will be the Speaker. Burial will be private. In leiu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall.
