Kathleen "Casey" Costigan, 51, of Austin, TX., and formerly of Elyria lost her long battle with cancer on October 22, 2013. She was born to John and Joan Costigan on July 15, 1962 in Elyria. Casey graduated from Elyria High School in 1981 and earned an Associate Degree from Lorain County Community College. Survivors include her mother, Joan Costigan and her five brothers and sisters, Pat Costigan (wife, Lisa), Kelly Adcox, Shawn Costigan, Michelle Murdough (husband, Clarke), and Terry Costigan. She was preceded in death by her father, John Costigan. Casey was a loving aunt to her nieces, Shauna Adcox, Walsh Costigan, Caty Costigan and her nephew Clarke Murdough and her great-nephews Chase and Aiden Covender. Casey was a lifelong animal lover so in liue of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made in her name to any animal shelter. Funeral Services and Burial were held on Saturday October 26, 2013 in Kyle, TX.. The family will receive friends on Saturday November 9, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
